Your job in a nutshell
I look after all those day-to-day tasks that keep the business running smoothly, from greeting our clients, to filing, organising and ordering supplies.
Tell me about your first paid job?
I worked in personal care. Giving people the support they needed to live independently and with dignity was great experience for my role at Ginkgo. It’s taught me to be polite, patient and treat every client as an individual.
What led you to where you are now?
I’m super organised and I love de-cluttering and generally making things more efficient, so I chose to take an NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration. I was looking for somewhere to really put my skills to the test and Ginkgo offered the perfect opportunity!
What was the first thing you bought with your own money?
Tickets to the Reading Festival. I love big outdoor events.
What’s the most frivolous thing you’ve ever bought?
A designer handbag. It’s my one vice. I have lots and most of them are red!
What three words would your friends use to describe you?
Enthusiastic, hard-working, organised.
What’s the best thing about working at Ginkgo?
Being treated as an equal and having such good support from the rest of the team.
