I solve problems. This is probably the best way to describe my job. I’m fortunate that my role stretches across the business from supporting our marketing team, advisers, admin teams and our owners.

What led you to where you are now? I’d love to say it was all strategically planned, but the reality is that I seized opportunities, worked hard, and those efforts opened doors for me. I’ve also been fortunate throughout my career to work with exceptional leaders at some fantastic organisations, including Barclays Wealth Management and Private Banking, Handelsbanken, and LGT Wealth Management. They recognized my potential and took the time to nurture me.
What was the first thing you bought with your own money? Probably a CD from Woolworths
What’s the most frivolous thing you’ve ever bought? An open ticket to Thailand in my mid 20s so I could become a scuba diving instructor.
What would you do if you won the lottery? I’d make sure my family and close friends would be looked after.
What’s your retirement dream? I’d love to be able to continue to travel and visit new countries.
What three words would your friends use to describe you? Diligent, resourceful and amusing
What advice would you give to your younger self? Don’t take yourself so seriously, you don’t have to please everyone
What’s the best thing about working at Ginkgo? I love the variety of things I get to do but the best thing is the Ginkgo Family. It really has a family feel here. Everyone cares and everyone helps one another.
